Monday we had our music lesson and we had so much fun learning about rhythm and moving to the music. They’re doing a great job learning how to use the castanets. Before music we practiced our writing. Starting next week we will begin to write the letters of the alphabet. One per week. We also read the story Elmer again, learning about differences and similarities.
今週月曜日はミュージッククラスがありました。リズム打ちをしたり、音楽に合わせて動く活動を楽しみました。リズムに合わせてカスタネットをたたくのが、みんなとっても上手に出来ていました。ミュージッククラスの前はライティングの練習をしました。来週からは週に１つのアルファベットを書く練習を始めます。また、今週もエルマーの本を読みました。「異なるもの」、「同じもの」について学んでいます。
Tuesday we went to the pool. We all enjoyed playing in the water. The students jumped around, picked up rings from the water, and also grabbed balls floating on top.
火曜日はプールに行き、楽しい時間を過ごしました。プールの中でジャンプをしたり、水中のリングを拾ったり、水の上に浮かぶボールを拾ったりして楽しみました。
Wednesday we had gym class. It was raining that day so it was nice to have the students be able to have an indoor activity. This week the students crawled under a rope and marched around in one as well. It was so much fun!
水曜日は体操教室がありました。雨の日だったので、室内で体を思いっきり動かせる良い活動になりました。今回はロープの下をワニさんのようにくぐったり、電車ごっこをしたりして遊びました。
Thursday we went to the park by bus. Once we got there we practiced walking around the park. Afterwards we played on the play structure before the bus arrived to take us back to school.
Friday we will walk to the park. We have be practicing a lot and it will be a fun experience to walk to the park again.
木曜日は、バスで公園に行きました。公園についてすぐに、手をつないで歩く練習をしました。その後はバスが来るまで遊具でたくさん遊びました。金曜日は公園まで歩いて行きます！これまでたくさん歩く練習をしてきたので、公園まで歩いて行くのも楽しい活動になると思います。
This week we also started having class helpers. Each day there will be a boy and a girl that will help the class. They will lead us in the lunch and snack routine. The students have done a great job leading their friends.
今週はクラスヘルパーの活動も始めました。毎日、男の子一人、女の子一人のクラスヘルパーが先生達のお手伝いをしてくれます。ヘルパーさんは、ランチとスナックタイムの挨拶をリードしてくれます。みんなとても上手に出来ています。
For the lesson this week, the students have been learning about shapes, colors, and what things make us unique. We talked about the body and now we’re moving on to what our favorite things are. The students picked their favorite shape and colored it their favorite color. We also continued learning about same, similar, and different.
学習面では、いろいろな形、色、違いについて学んでいます。先月のテーマは体の部位でしたが、今月は「ぼく・わたしの好きなもの」について話し合っています。子ども達は自分の一番好きな形を選び、それを一番好きな色で塗りました。「同じもの」、「類似したもの」、「異なるもの」についても引き続き学んでいます。
