We have had a very fun and exciting week! Monday we practiced writing the letter “B”. It’s a challenging letter but the students did a great job. We also had our music class where we practiced with the castanets and learned rhythm. It’s always a fun time for us.
今週もわくわく楽しい一週間を過ごしました。月曜日は「B」を書く練習をしました。書くのには少し難しい文字でしたが、みんなよく出来ていました。ミュージックレッスンもあり、カスタネットをたたく練習やリズムについて学びました。みんな毎週楽しみしている時間です。
Tuesday we went to the pool. We had so much fun in the water! We dived for rings and jumped around. The students also practiced kicking while hanging on the side of the pool. They love splashing the water around. We also continued our lesson on land animals with a fun cup game. The students enjoyed it a lot.
火曜日はプールに行き楽しんできました。水中のリングをとるために水中にダイブし、ジャンプをしました。プールサイドに寝転び、足をバタバタする練習もしました。体に水にかけるのもとてもみんな大好きです。Afternoon Circle Timeでは、陸に住む動物のフィギアを使って、楽しいカップゲームをしました。カップの中に何の動物は入っているか当てっこをしました♪
Wednesday we went to the gym. This week the students used hula hoops at the end of class. They had so much fun rolling the hoop around and chasing after it. Later that day we had a fun lesson about same and different. They had an activity sheet and they used a marker to mark the objects that were the same. The rest of the students will finish the worksheet this week and next week. The students did a great job! At the end of the day we learned about sea animals. We sang a fun song about a sailor that went to sea and what animals she saw.
水曜日は体操教室がありました。体操などをした後、フラフープを使って遊びました。フープを自分で転がしたり、先生の転がしたフープを追いかけたりしてとっても楽しかったようです。その日のAfternoon Circle Timeでは、「同じもの」、「違うもの」についてレッスンをしました。ワークシートを使って、「同じ」絵の物を探してペンで丸をつけました。みんなとても上手に出来てました。今回できなかった子は次回行います。最後に、海に住む動物について勉強しました。海に行った水兵さんが色んな海の動物たちを見つけるという歌、「A Sailor Went to the Sea」を歌いました。
Thursday we had our class photo. The students were great listeners and we’re excited to see how the photo turns out. After the class picture we walked to the park. We made sure they all had their backpacks with their water bottle inside and that the backpack fit well before starting our walk. They all had fun at the park and we made sure they all drank a lot of tea. For our afternoon lesson we continued learning about sea animals. We sang a song and then read a book about different kinds of sea animals.
木曜日はクラスごとの写真撮影がありました。オーロラさん達は撮影をして下さる方のお話をよく聞いて上手にお座りしていました。どんな写真が出来上がるのか楽しみです！その後は公園に歩いて出かけました。歩く前には自分のリュックサックに水筒を入れ、きちんと背負っていることを確認しました。公園では思いっきり遊び、水分補給もしっかりとしました。Afternoon Lessonでは、前日に引き続き「海に住む動物」について学びました。A Sailor Went to the Seaを歌い、いろんな海の生き物が出てくる本を読みました。
Friday we had our birthday party! The students always look forward to it. It’s a fun time to celebrate the birthdays of our friends. After the party we continued the worksheet for same and different before going to the park.
金曜日は5月生まれの子の誕生会がありました。お友達のお誕生日会をみんなとても楽しみにしています。誕生日会の後は公園に出かける前に、「同じもの」、「違うもの」についてのワークシートを引き続きおこないます。
