Monday we started off our day practicing the letter C. The students did a great job following the line. After our writing practice we had music. We practiced rhythm with a new activity. The students clapped along to a song on a CD and also two songs that were played on the piano. We had a lot of fun!
月曜日はアルファベット「C」を書くところからスタートし、みんな上手になぞり書きが出来ていました。ライティング練習の後は、ミュージックレッスンがありました。今週から新しい曲でリズム学習をしました。音楽CDや、ピアノの演奏に合わせて手をたたいたりリズムをとりました。みんなとっても楽しんでいました。
Tuesday we didn’t go to the pool so we did a fun craft instead. It was the students first time to use scissors at school. They did a great job since it was their first time using them at school. For the afternoon routine, we finished our same and different worksheet. We’re focusing on same and different right now to help make a foundation to learn similar.
今週火曜日はスイミングレッスンがなかったので、教室でクラフトをしました。今回初めてハサミを使った製作をしました。スクールで使うのは初めてでしたが、みんなよく頑張っていました。Afternoon Circle Time では、「同じもの」、「違うもの」を見分けるワークシートを全員が終えることが出来ました。「同じもの」と「違うもの」をよく理解した上で、「似ているもの」を理解する力をつけたいと思います。
Wednesday we went to the gym. We did a lot of different activities during the class. The student enjoy playing with the hula hoops. After gym we continued our same, similar, and different lesson.
水曜日は体操教室があり、色んな活動をして体を動かしました。特にフラフープを使った遊びが気に入ったようです。体操教室の後は、同じもの、似ているもの、違うものについてのレッスンをしました。
Thursday we had our open school day. I hope all the parents that came had a great time observing the class. We had a fun lesson about our favorite land animals. At the end of the day we got to stick them onto our silhouettes.
木曜日は参観日でした。大勢の皆様に来ていただいてありがとうございますした。みんなが選んだ、「一番好きな陸の動物」についてレッスンをしました。夕方のレッスンでは、色塗りをした動物の紙を自分のシルエットに貼り付けました。
Friday we continued our activity from Thursday but with sea animals. Not all the students were able to finish so we will finish it next week. After that we walked to the park. All the students had their backpacks and water bottles inside. It’s getting warmer so we want to make sure they are well hydrated.
金曜日は、「一番好きな海の動物」の色塗りをしました。全員が終えることは出来ませんでしたが、来週にはみんなが終えると思います。その後、歩いて公園まで出掛けました。自分のリュックに水筒を入れて持って行きました。日に日に暑くなっていますので、水分補給をしっかりとしたいと思います。
