Good day everyone. This week we hare having a lot of fun. In out uoi we compared our family hand prints with those of our classmates. We also learned how to make comparisons; big, bigger, biggest. Our gym class was a lot of fun where we played with hoops this week. In regards to phonics we are focusing on the letter “S” this week. I’d like to thank all the parents for helping their children reading our new books at home and sending it back to class so we can read it at school again. With all this reading practice our English will improve very quickly.
On Thursday we had a very nice time on our field trip. We made craft with wood and collected pine cones and some other random objects of interest from the forest floor. Everyone was ecstatic about their tasty bento boxes. I hope everyone have a wonderful weekend.
今週のIBレッスンでは、家族の手の大きさを比べ合いをしました。「誰の手が一番大きい？」「どっちの手が小さい？」など予測をしながら、実際に手形を重ねて比べ合ったり、お友達の手と自分の手を比べたり、英語の比較級も覚えました。
ジムのレッスンではフープを使って体を動かすことを楽しんだり、フォニックスでは「S」の音について学び、それに関しての本も読み始めました。ご家庭でのリーディングのご協力ありがとうございます。
そしてそして何といっても、今週は塩尻林業センターへバス遠足に行ってきました！森の中を散歩して、いっぱい松ぼっくりを見つけたり、セミの抜け殻も見つけたり、クラフトでは木の枝や実を使って壁掛けを作ったり、みんな大喜びでした♪美味しいお弁当ありがとうございますた。
