We have had a great first week starting our new unit. The theme is how we organize ourselves and we’ll be talking about how we can clean up after ourselves. The next couple weeks will be about the difference between clean and dirty.
今週から新しいユニットの学習が始まりました。メインテーマは、How we organize ourselves「私たちは自分たちをどう組織しているのか」で、「自分たちでどのように片付けができるか」について話し合いをします。これから数週間は、「きれい」と「汚い」の違いについて理解を深める週になります。
Monday we had our writing and music lesson. Ms. Rieko was with us that day and we all had a lot of fun. The writing this week was the letter H. All the students did well and needed very little help.
月曜日は、ライティングとミュージックレッスンをしました。Ms.Shizukaがお休みだったため、Ms.Riekoと楽しい時間を過ごしました。今週はHを書く練習をしました。ほとんど先生の手を借りることなく、みんな上手に書けていました。
Tuesday we had swimming! We practiced moving around in the water and diving for toys. We’ve also been continuing our math lessons about quantity during our afternoon routines.
火曜日はスイミングクラスがありました。水の中で歩き回ったり、水の中に潜ってリングや棒を拾いました。Afternoon Circle Timeには、数を数えるレッスンをしました。
Wednesday was a very exciting day! It was our open gym day. All the students were looking forward to it and kept telling us that mommies and daddies would be there. We all had a lot of fun! After the gym we checked on our radishes to see how they’re doing. They are getting to be so big! It’s really exciting.
水曜日はGym Open Dayがありました。お母さん、お父さんが来てくれるのを朝からみんなとっても楽しみにしていました。たくさんの保護者の皆様にご参加いただき、ありがとうございました。体操教室からスクールに戻った後、みんなで植えた二十日大根の様子をみました。みんなの二十日大根がとても大きくなっていて、笑顔になりました。
Thursday was a rainy day so we couldn’t go outside, but we did do something new and fun. We started doing activity centers. There were six stations that the students went to in groups of three to four. Each station there was something different to do. We had writing, coloring, building/numbers, puzzles, play-dough, and blocks. It was a nice indoor activity to do with the students and we look forward to doing it again!
木曜日は雨だったので公園には行けませんでしたが、アクテビティセンターという新しい活動をしました！子ども達は、３人から４人のグループになり、６つのステーションを回りました。それぞれのステーションでは、ライティング、お絵かき、数字遊び（ブロック）、パズル、粘土、ブロックが出来ます。とてもよい屋内遊びになりました。雨の日など、また行いたいと思います。
Friday it was also raining so we stayed inside and did a craft. This was a fun one to do. The students made frogs that could hop! It was exciting to do on a rainy day.
金曜もまた雨だったので、スクールで過ごしクラフトをしました。ジャンプする蛙を作り、みんなで遊びました。雨でしたが、楽しい時間になりました。
