We have had a great and fun week! Monday we had our music class and writing. The students have been having fun learning about rhythm. It’s always a very active and fun class!
今週もとっても楽しい一週間になりました。月曜日はミュージッククラスとライティングをしました。ミュージッククラスでは引き続きリズムの学習をしました。お友達の肩たたきをしたり、マラカスを持ってリズムに合わせて歩いたりなど、動きを使ったレッスンを楽しんでいます。
Tuesday we didn’t have our swimming class so we did a craft instead. They made fish for the sports festival! You can see them hanging outside the classroom. While some of the students did the craft, the others went outside to the pool. The groups switched so everyone had a chance to swim.
火曜日はスイミングクラスがなかったので、クラフトをしました。スポーツフェスティバルのデコレーションに使う「魚」を作りました。ビニール紐を半分に折り、紙皿に開けた穴の中に通して、魚の尾びれを作りました。少し難しい作業でしたが紐が紙皿に結び付くと、自分で出来たことにとても誇らしい様子でした。クラスを２グループに分け、片側のグループがクラフトをしている間、もう一つのグループは屋外プールで遊びました。
Wednesday we had our gym class. It was a new place this week so the students were excited. We did some practice for the sports festival and also some activities where the students pretended to be different animals. After gym the students who weren’t able to finish craft had some time to do so.
水曜日は体操教室がありました。いつもとは違うジムに行ったので、なんだか嬉しそうなオーロラさん達。今日筆ではスポーツフェスティバルの練習や、色んな動物に変身して前に進む活動をしました。体操教室の後は、火曜日にクラフトをやっていなかったお友達がクラフトをしました。
Thursday we continued our lesson about not being wasteful. This lesson was about not wasting paper. We also talked a little bit about where paper comes from. After the lesson we practiced for the sports festival and then swam afterwards.
木曜日は「無駄使いをしないこと」についてのレッスンをしました。今週は「紙」の無駄使いについての話をしました。また紙が何で出来ているかということにもふれました。レッスンの後は、スポーツフェスティバルのダンスの練習をしてから、屋外プールで遊びました。
Friday we had our birthday celebration with the Minami campus. It was so fun and nice to celebrate everyone’s birthday this month. After the party we had our lesson about not being wasteful again followed by practice and swimming.
We have been having a lot of fun and practicing really hard for the sports festival. I know you all will be very proud of them! Have a great weekend!
金曜日はお誕生日会がありました。７月生まれのお友達の誕生日をみんなで祝って、とても楽しい会になりました。お誕生日会の後は、「無駄使いをしないこと」についてのレッスンをしてから、スポーツフェスティバルの練習、屋外プールでの活動をしました。スポーツフェスティバルの練習は、見に来てくれるお父さん、お母さんのために、みんなとても頑張っています。良い週末をお過ごしください。
