We had unstable weather this week, but that did not stop our Milky Way class from being productive and learning more.
今週は不安定な天候もありましたが、ミルキーウェイクラスはとっても活動的な毎日を過ごしました！
Work stationの時間では、リスニングやさんすう、手先の発達やUOIに関連したコーナーなど、たくさんのコーナーの中から自分のやりたいものを選び、取り組みました。どれもワクワクする内容で、他のも早くやりたい！と、次のWork stationの時間を心待ちにしているミルキーさん達です！
We have finally started our Unit of Inquiry II this week. We opened the unit by talking about what is a team. As always, our Milky Way students were able to contribute good answers like A team is a group of people, A team works together, A team is happy, etc.
今週からいよいよUnit of Inquiry2が始まりました。まず、「チームとは何か」について話し合いました。ミルキーウェイの子ども達からは、「チームとは、人の集まり」「チームは、一緒に活動する」「チームは楽しい！」など、いつものようにすてきな答えがたくさん出てきました。
Aside from team and teamwork, we will also be inquiring about causes of conflicts, how to manage conflicts and how to achieve common goals as a team. We are hoping for our students to learn the importance of unity and the effect of shared destiny. We are all looking forward to achieving our goal as a team.
チームやチームワークはもちろんのこと、対立や衝突の原因、その対応方法、チームとして共通の目標を達成する方法についても探究していきます。 子ども達が団結の大切さと、目標に向かって一緒に頑張るとどういう効果が生まれるのかを学んでいくのを楽しみにしています。
The cleaners✨
そして今週から、自分たちで教室の掃除も始めました✨チームごとに役割を分担し、床やテーブル、椅子の拭き掃除や、おもちゃや本の整理を行います。始めに、なぜ教室を掃除しなければいけないの？と問いかけると、「自分たちが使う教室だから、自分たちできれいにする！」という答えや、「教室がきたなかったら、健康じゃない！」という答えが返ってきました！さすがミルキーさん、Unit1で習ったことがしっかり身についていますね😊自分たちの教室を、はりきって掃除しています！
Aside from the opening of our new unit, one of the highlights of this week for us was the GYM OPEN SCHOOL DAY. Parents came not just to observe how their children perform during their Physical Education class, but also to do it with their children. The class went well and both parents and kids had so much fun. It was a good review too for our Milky Way students about Family Bonding. It indeed enhances self-esteem! Thank you for coming, parents! We all hope that you will treasure this experience forever. 🙂
新しいユニットのオープニングもさることながら、私達にとって今週のハイライトの一つは、Gym open dayでした。保護者の方々には、授業の様子を見るだけでなく、子ども達と一緒に参加していただきました。みんなで楽しい時間を過ごすことができ、ミルキーさん達にとっても、家族の絆を実感する良い機会になったようです。子ども達の自尊心も高まったことと思います。保護者の皆様、ご参加いただきありがとうございました！！この体験が一生の宝物になればいいなと思います！
Speaking of unstable, We had the chance to dip and dive in the school pool on Wednesday! Since we were not sure about the weather in the coming days, we took the chance to have fun in the water while the sunny weather lasts. We all had a good time, and we are all excited to do this every day during the Summer season.
そして今週水曜日から、外のプールで水遊びが始まりました！園庭はキャッキャッと楽しそうな声で溢れました！夏の間毎日でもやりたいと思うほど、みんな楽しんでいました😊毎日の洗濯のご協力、ありがとうございます！！
