This week marks my third week here and I already felt like home just as how the kids felt when at school, considering that it is their second home. Time flies so fast and the kids are already familiar and well adjusted with me and so am I. Within three weeks, they’ve already captured a piece of my heart.
Summer breeze makes me feel fine and so for the kids too. And for this fine weather, it gives us no reason not to have fun and enjoy the sunshine either for a short outdoor walk or a water play. That being said, not only they enjoyed the sun and the outdoor pool but they also had so much fun in the indoor play that they didn’t realize they’re making memories, they knew they were having fun. They are a mere reflection on how we should always have fun and enjoy life to the fullest.
Since summer is here and as the Ocean Day is approaching (Umi No Hi), it’s the perfect time of the year for the kids to start learning about the sea animals. It’s a great week to start introducing and learning more about the sea creatures as they could enjoy and spend their long weekend either at the beach or aquarium and get to see some of the sea animals upclose and learn more about them.
In the week’s activity, the kids were so eager and excited when we introduced some of the sea animals like dolphin, octopus, whale, jellyfish, shark, squid and starfish, just to name a few. They were also very enthusiastic to do some craft and dipped their hands and foot with red paint and made a crab. And as the week ends, we then asked them to tap or point the sea animals that they like the most.
I hope everyone’s enjoying their summer and have a fun long weekend!
