This week Rainforest went to the police station as part of our unit on people working together. The children enjoyed playing in the different police cars, trying on police vests and asking questions. Last week and this week we have continued to learn about subtraction using blocks and counting on and back strategies using a timeline.
In literacy Rainforest is still reading rhyming books and learning how to spell words that rhyme. The students will be given their paper RAZ readers again this Friday to practise reading a the appropriate level, please ensure they bring them back on Tuesday so we can share them in the class. After the Sports Festival the children wrote a reflection on what they did well last Friday and drew a picture.
