Fun! Fun in the sun! Summer is almost over so make the most out of it. When you say the word “pool”, it brings so much joy and excitement for the kids and once inside they can’t help from screaming and jumping while enjoying the warm water and the heat of the sun. We don’t recommend them to jump though but the kids will always be kids and we can’t refrain them from jumping especially when they are happy and excited. And most especially, we can’t stop them from being kids. They should have fun, explore and collect loads of good and fun memories and experiences during their toddler years. We must remember that they are only kids once. And that is what the teachers are there for, to guide and look after them.

Some are happy being their teacher’s helper. And when it is craft time, you’d see how serious and focus they are. They are really enjoying learning new things and fun stuff.

Yesterday was the last Friday of the month and the students in Minami Campus have celebrated it’s “Birthday Celebration” for the month of August led by yours truly, Ms. Bon. The kids sang a birthday song for the birthday celebrants as usual and their respective teachers gave them some short messages and birthday cards. I’ve organized a game for the celebrants called “Pin the Tail.” The mechanics of the game is to pin the missing tail of a donkey. The kids and the teachers in the audience helped and cheered for the celebrants by shouting left, right, up and down. It was fun and some kids want to take their chance but too bad our time was limited. And for the Rainbow students, we gave them a chance to play in the afternoon. Although it might not really be applicable for toddlers yet but this game is not just a fun game but a learning fun game for preschoolers. And let me quote this, “Children learn best through play.” This game is a good practice for the listening skills. It also helps you to listen to your guts and to learn how to trust your friends.
And that’s all for our week and have a happy weekend everyone!
