Good day everyone. Welcome back to school and a happy new year to all.
This week we started our new unit of inquiry; Sharing the planet.
We are currently discussing the four seasons and how the weather changes from season to season.
On Thursday we had a very good time in the park.
We also learnt the phonics of the letter “x” as well as started reading our new book ” Red Hen and Rod Rat”.
On Friday we had a Drill about what to do if we see a “Stranger”.

年末年始のお休みはいかが過ごしましたか？
昨年はお世話になりました。

さて、１月は新しいUnit Of Inquiry：「地球を共有する」が始まりました。
今月のLines Of Inquiryは「季節と天気はどんな影響を地球にもたらすのか」で、Key Conceptは「変化」です。
今週からクラスでは四季について学び始めました。約４週間かけて季節がどう変化するのかを詳しく学んでいきます。
毎朝のサークルタイムに毎日の天気と気温を記録するアクティビティも始めました。みんな楽しそうに四季についての絵を描いたりしています。
木曜日は久しぶりに公園に行きました。寒さも気にせずたくさん走り回り、みんなとても元気一杯、大満足でした！
金曜日は不審者についての避難訓練を行いました。
みんな静かに教室に隠れ、不審者・知らない人には絶対についていかない事を学びました。
