We started our new unit this week, how we express ourselves. I’m looking forward to this unit and think it will be fun for the kids as well. We started the unit by talking about what art is. I brought in some paintings and drawings to show what visual art is. We also talked about audio and physical art like music and dancing.
The students had fun at gym this week as well. They have been pretending to be different animals. They enjoy pretending to be bees the most I think since they get to chase us and then we chase them.
We all have been enjoying walking to the park every week. The students get more comfortable walking each week as well. We spend about 15 minutes walking to the park which allows us to stay there for about 20 minuets. It has been very fun.
