自分へのプレゼント Meadowクラス 3月14日から18日より

皆さん、こんにちは
As the end of the school year draws near, we have mixed emotions of being sad to say farewell to friends and at the same time happy of seeing every one of them who has grown up at their own pace.
学期末が近づくにつれ、友に別れを告げる寂しい気持ちが入り混じった感情を抱いています。と同時に個々のペースで成長した子供達を見て嬉しく思います。
In honor of this graduation season, we are sending love and congratulations to all the graduates this year, we are beyond proud of each of you! As a little treat for our youngsters, they made their garland. They enjoyed choosing their favorite colors of soft paper and crumpled them to make a ball for the flower. They also enjoyed passing a rope through the straw and adding some leaves and flowers to it. A beautiful garland is done! They felt fabulous wearing them around their neck.
卒業、進級の季節を祝して、Meadowクラス担任より今年度進級する子供達皆さんに心からの気持ち祝福を贈ります。みんなのことをとても誇りに思います。子供達へのわずかなご褒美としてネックレスを作りました。好きな色の柔らかい紙を選び、それらを丸めてボールをを作り台紙に貼り付けてお花にしました。みんな紐をストローを通し葉っぱと花も同様に楽しみながら通しました。素敵なネックレスが完成しました。首回りに身に着け嬉しそうでした。
“5 Senses”
五感
This week, we have discussed the “Sense of smell and the Sense of taste”. For the sense of smell, we showed the children the things we have prepared and let them smell. The children copied the teacher saying ” With my nose, I can smell a”… coffee! … ginger! … curry! … perfume! … a tea!. Then we had them blindfolded and let them guessed the smell. They were able to distinguish them and say the phrase. For the sense of taste, we have prepared foods with 4 kinds of taste! Lemon(sour), pineapple(sweet), cracker(salty), and pure cocoa (bitter). After tasting each of the food, our youngsters followed the teacher saying the phrase: “With my tounge, I can taste a”… lemon! It’s sour! a pineapple, It’s sweet!, a cracker, It’s salty!, a cocoa, It’s bitter! They had funny facial expressions to each of the food they have tasted. They enjoyed the activity.
今週は嗅覚、味覚について話し合いました。嗅覚では事前に用意したものを子供達に見せ匂いを嗅いでもらいました。子供達は先生の言うのを真似して ” With my nose, I can smell a”… coffee! … ginger! … curry! … perfume! … a tea!. のように口々に言いました。それから目隠しをして匂いを想像してもらいました。みんな匂いを区別しフレーズを言うことが出来ました。味覚については4種類の味の食品を用意しました。子供達は先生に続いて “With my tounge, I can taste a”… lemon! It’s sour! a pineapple, It’s sweet!, a cracker, It’s salty!, a cocoa, It’s bitter! のようにフレーズを言いました。みんなそれぞれの食品を口にして陽気な表情をしていました。
Rainy Friday!
雨の金曜日！
The last day of the week was rainy, so we spent our morning in the classroom doing some fun activities. We used the ball to play and we spread the hoops and balance bars on the floor. They enjoyed moving their bodies and took turns moving in one direction.
今週最後の日は雨降りでした。みんな午前中を教室で楽しい活動をして過ごしました。ボールを使ったり、フラフープを広げてジャンプしたり床に平均台を置いてエクササイズをしました。みんな体を動かしたり、順番に一方方向に進んで活動できました。
Music Class
We enjoyed the last day of our music class. Meadow students were more motivated to sing and clapped their hands with the piano accompaniment.
今年度最後の音楽のレッスンを楽しみました。Meadowクラスのお友達は歌ったり先生のピアノの演奏に合わせて手を叩いたりしてより一層やる気一杯でした。
