It was a very exciting week for our little ones!✨
This week for our five senses lesson, we focused on our “Sense of Taste”.👅 We watched an educational video about it and we determined the 5 basic tastes such as: sweet, sour, salty, bitter, and umami. The following day, we did “tasting of fruits” activity. With our tongue, we taste a yummy banana, kiwi, and lemon and we determined what type of taste it is!🍌🍋🥝 Everybody had so much fun with our lesson! Here’s a glimpse of our activity…
みなさん、こんにちは。
今週は、”五感”について注目したレッスンをしました。味覚では、舌には甘味、酸味、塩味、苦味、旨味の５つの味を感じる味覚があることを学べるビデオを見てから、バナナ、キウイフルーツ、レモンのカットフルーツを用意してどの味覚を感じるか実際に食べて感じてもらいました。子ども達から『It’s yummy!!(おいしい!!)』の感想の後に、『It’s sweet!!(あまい!!)/sour(すっぱい!!)』と言う声が聞こえ、みんな楽しんで活動に取り組んでいました。
Last week, we made a “binocular” out of toilet paper rolls and they painted it with their favorite color. Our youngsters loved playing with it during our free play! They always say, “I can see Ms. Aiza/Ms. Sayuri/Ms. Ayako!” “I can see a rainbow!” “I can see a car!” “I can see a mountain!” “I can see a house!”👀 Wonderful, Rainbow!!!⭐
先週末、視覚をより学べるようにトイレットペーパーの芯で双眼鏡を作りました。思い思い好きな色を塗って自分だけの双眼鏡を覗くと見えてくるものに『I can see◯◯.』でしっかり応えられていました。
In our phonics lesson, we are done with all the letters in the alphabet! We are now reviewing letters A-Z and its sounds. It’s so amazing that our young ones can recognize letters and sounds randomly! They can also think and give words that start with each specific letter! Well done!!!⭐
フォニックスでは、すべてのアルファベットを学び終えました。復習に、ランダムにレターと発音それからその文字から始まる言葉を質問すると、自分達で考えたり思い出したりしてしっかりと答えることが出来ました。
Also, we held a drill about “Stranger”. We explained to our young ones the danger of talking and accepting something from a person they do not know personally. We taught them the best ways to save themselves from a stranger!
今月の避難訓練は、”不審者対応”でした。知らない人に話しかけられたり、近寄ってこられたりしたらお母さんお父さんの所にすぐに行くんだよ。着いていっちゃダメ。近寄っちゃダメ。家のドアはすぐに開けちゃダメ。と言うことを伝え避難訓練に備えました。
It was a rainy Friday so we couldn’t go outside and play.🌧️ As an alternative activity, we did tracing wavy lines.〰️ Pre-writing is a task that gets them one step closer to writing letters and words. Tracing is beneficial because it helps build the fine motor skills, pre-writing skills, concentration and focus, visual-spatial skills, creativity and drawing skills of children.✍🏻
週の最後は、あいにくの雨。外遊びが出来ませんでしたが、波形のなぞり書きをしました。ペンの持ち方もとっても上手になり、線をはみ出さないようにゆっくり丁寧になぞる姿がありました。文字を書く時にもとっても大事な曲線。アルファベットを書く準備が少しずつ整ってきましたね。
Our youngsters always tell us that they love gym and music classes!🎵 That’s the time where they can show they love for music and in doing various exercises. Let’s take a look at how they enjoyed our classes!✨
