「よりよい関係を作るのに自分と他人を理解する」というテーマで行っている”Who We Are”のユニット。活動の一部として、自分自身や相手の特徴、ユニークさ、好き嫌いなどを学ぶために、クラスでは様々な絵本が読まれています。
ヨシタケシンスケさんのCan I Build Another Me? (ぼくのニセモノをつくるには）はRainforestのお友達の大好きな1冊です。本の1ページにある、好きなもの・嫌いなもというテーマで子どもたちも自分の好きなもの・嫌いなものを絵に描き表現しました。
来週からは、お友達とのコミュニケーションをより多く取りながら、お互いをもっと知っていく活動をします！
This week we have been learning more about “Understanding ourselves and others helps build stronger relationships” as part of our IB unit: Who we are.
We read the book (Can I build another me) by Shinsuke Yoshitake in English. The children loved the funny
illustrations and we did our own drawings about what we like and dislike.
The cherry blossoms are almost gone but we got to enjoy them at the nearby shrine.
We also went to Nanbu park yesterday and will start tennis lessons next Thursday.
